Should I workout if I have an injury, strain, or muscle soreness?
I can’t tell you how many times there is a scenario where we haven’t seen a member for a couple weeks. When we reach out they tell me they got an injury or a nagging muscle pain the last time they were in the gym and they were waiting for it to get better before coming back.
Don’t do this! Please tell us about it right away or just come in! We are a service based gym, we are here to help you get in the best shape of your life. We are more than happy to make any adjustments to any workout so that you can still get a great workout regardless of how we may need to modify things. Seriously.
We think it’s important to stay in motion, to keep coming in. We will intelligently adjust things to keep you moving and keep the healthy habit of your gym routine going. Plus it will help you heal quicker. Injuries suck, trust me I know. Things happen, we must keep stepping forward, we are in this for the long game and in that game there will be some ups and downs. There’s always a silver lining, we must keep our heads up and look for that.
